Enter the HTTPS URL, username, and password supplied for your Subsonic-compatible server. Vinyl Rider stores the connection in secure device storage and sends requests directly to that server—not through a developer-operated backend. Compatible servers include Navidrome and Bandcamp.

Ask your server operator for its HTTPS Subsonic endpoint and your username and password, then enter all three under Server Connection in Vinyl Rider. The app tests the connection before saving it.
The server URL, username, and password are kept in your device's secure credential storage. They are not added to filenames, the offline library, website, or a developer-operated server. Disconnecting removes the connection without deleting downloaded tracks.
Downloaded audio, artwork, track metadata, BPM results, and bass-analysis timelines stay in the app's private storage on your device. There is no media-export, public-sharing, cloud-sync, or cross-device library-sync feature.
Remove one or more items from Downloaded Tracks, or use Remove All to clear the offline library. Disconnect the server to remove its saved connection. Uninstalling the app or clearing its app data removes all locally stored app data.
Confirm the HTTPS endpoint and credentials with your server operator, then choose Server Connection in the app. For failed downloads, restore a stable connection, check available device storage, and retry. Already downloaded tracks remain available offline.
Downloads continue while you browse or use the decks in the foreground. Background transfer is not promised: leaving the app safely stops active work, and ordinary queued downloads can resume when you return.

Yes. You can choose a supported audio file from the system file picker and load it onto either deck. The app only receives the file you select; it does not scan your music library.
The mixer, decks, device audio, and completed downloads work offline. Browsing your online library and downloading new tracks require a connection to your music server.
The app has no developer account system, advertising SDK, developer-operated analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or developer-operated backend. If you connect a music server, your username, library searches, and requested actions go directly to that server over HTTPS and may be retained in its logs. The developer does not receive them.
